A utility format with direct controls
The upright metal body houses a fan-assisted heating element. A mode dial selects the output and a separate rotary thermostat adjusts the cycling point. The handle makes it easier to reposition the heater after it has been switched off, unplugged and allowed to cool.
Use the 1300W or 1500W setting according to the manual and the room conditions. The metal housing is a construction detail, not a promise that the appliance is safe to touch everywhere during operation.

Check the space, not just the room name
A garage may contain gasoline, solvents, paint or combustible dust. Do not use this heater where those hazards are present. Choose a dry, clear position on a firm, level floor, away from traffic and at least three feet from combustible materials.
The grounded plug must connect directly to a suitable grounded wall outlet. Never remove its grounding pin, use a power strip or rely on an extension cord. Keep the front and rear openings clear so air can pass through.
