A window fan has a different job from a fan on your desk. It can draw outdoor air in or move indoor air out, provided the weather, air quality and installation are suitable. Start with the clear opening in your window, then choose the controls you will use.
Measure the opening
Our selected twin-fan models use extendable side panels. Measure the usable opening and check the dimensions of the exact configuration, including feet and accessories.
Choose the controls
The BP6-9D adds a temperature display and adjustable thermostat. The BP2-9A options focus on remote-controlled speed and airflow direction.
Plan the air route
Intake, exhaust and exchange modes offer different ways to move air. A fan does not refrigerate it, filter smoke or make poor outdoor air suitable to bring inside.
