Choose with confidence
A garage or utility room needs a careful placement plan. The milkhouse heater uses fan-assisted heat in a standing metal housing; the ceiling model directs radiant heat toward the area below. Neither belongs near flammable vapors, fuel or combustible dust.
The FW606-15CG can stand on a firm, level floor. The QGW15-602 requires secure ceiling installation with the mounting clearances and outlet arrangement in its manual.
Fan-assisted heat moves warmed air. Quartz radiant heat is directional and warms people and objects in its path. Choose the format around the actual work area.
Keep gasoline, paint, solvents, sawdust and other combustibles away. Do not use a heater in a hazardous location or assume a garage label makes it suitable for every workshop.
